Welcome to BookSlice! Thank you for using our service. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
When we say "Company", "we", "our", or "us" in this document, we are referring to BookSlice. When we say "Services", we mean our Telegram bot (@BookSliceBot), website (http://www.bookslice.app), and any associated services. When we say "You" or "your", we are referring to the people or organizations that use our Services.
2. Account Terms
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- You may not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be a human. Accounts registered by bots or other automated methods are not permitted.
3. Payment, Refunds, and Plan Changes
- We offer a 1-month (30 days) free trial for new users. After the trial period, payment is required to continue using the Service.
- If you do not pay, your account will be frozen and inaccessible until payment is made.
- For plan changes, the new rate will start from the next billing cycle.
- All fees are exclusive of taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities.
- We offer a 100% money-back guarantee for the current billing period (monthly or annually). If you are unhappy with your purchase, you can request a refund.
4. Cancellation and Termination
- You are solely responsible for canceling your account. Instructions for cancellation are provided in our Service.
- Upon cancellation, your content will be inaccessible immediately and permanently deleted within 60 days.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason.
5. Modifications to the Service and Prices
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time.
- We may change the pricing for our Services, but will provide at least 30 days notice for existing customers.
6. Uptime, Security, and Privacy
- Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. We provide these Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- We take measures to protect and secure your data, but cannot guarantee complete security.
- By using our Services, you agree that we may process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Copyright and Content Ownership
- All content posted on the Services must comply with Singapore copyright law.
- You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Services.
- We do not pre-screen content, but reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.
- You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or visual design elements without express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
You expressly understand and agree that the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from your use of the Services.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
10. Changes to the Terms of Service
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on our website and updating the date at the top of this page.
